marl kingdom rhapsody

Marl Kingdom is the remastered port of the 2 remaining games of the Rhapsody series by NIS. 

Its best to play rhapsody a musical adventure beforehand before getting into this game. 

Like before these are parody of fairy tale stories with a very simplistic Disney like, (not in the way of twisted wonderland) 

The stories are as obnoxiously cheesy as one can expect from anything developed by NIS and of course lot of the story has really bizarre logic and just moments where characters do something really stupid just to move the plot along. 

The game now has a journal feature to give a guide on what to do next. 

The characters are as cookie cutter one note as one expect anyone from NIS to be.  

The voice acting included its just incredibly obnoxious. 

Combat like before is straight forward enough turn based and pretty easy too for begginers to jrpgs. 

The random encounter rate is pretty frequent to the point of annoyance. 

The graphics were decent and the art was good too. 

Like before you can find mini puppets with unique abilities to help you out throughout your journey. 

The music was decent. 

Overall this was an average game. 

It gets 3 out of 5 stars.
