Olympia Soiree is an otome visual novel for the Nintendo Switch with elements of genocide, romance and racism. The story is about a girl Olympia who’s clan was killed off a long time ago. She is the only person who can perform a special ritual at Tenguu Island. She has to find a husband in order to preserve her lineage while saving the land from eternal darkness. Tenguu Island has three districts ruled by very strict social rules and Olympia can travel from one district to the next.
The premise is interesting if not unique. The art was excellent and so were the character designs. The music was also enjoyable. Interactive is limited to dialogue options so it’s very limited. There are numerous flashbacks in the game. The game is fairly long with a slow pace and it takes its own time to get heated. The game handles some edgy topics typical of feudal class Japan.
Overall it was a decent game it gets 3 out of 5 stars
